Good news...and bad news...

Good news:

• The GPS receiver was at the Post Office today, and it's almost time to test it out!
• I found out that (perhaps!) the Linuxes in Jordan 1111 have DVD writers.

Bad news:

• Neither Bleach 18, Monster 39, nor Yakitate 11/12 have come out yet.

I never thought either that I would ever hear NC State students screaming after a Duke win, but sure enough, after Duke beat UNC 71-70 last night, I could hear the screaming 5 floors down from me.

And I just read the short term forecast from the NWS WFO Raleigh--there is a chance of flurries this afternoon due to the cold temperatures aloft; but it's so freaking warm at the surface that nothing significant will happen except it will look neat.
