Three Items

1. Bleach 16 came out last night; it was so cool. Lots of blood spattering though and probably lots more in 17.

2. Yakitate 10 CAME OUT TONIGHT! Soopy-kun will be so upset when I watch it without him, but can I resist?

3. If you're following that little weather system this weekend, it ain't little anymore. 1" here near RAH, 1-3" out near IGX, ice, sleet...I thought we had enough last week!

Let's be CSC 216 students again!

Dr. Miller should be disappointed. Of the five problems in the assignment:

  • One was more or less lifted out of one of her tests (a mathematical regression method).
  • Three are simply executing standard methods for stacks. Just as a reminder, Miller had us WRITING those methods on the final exam.
  • One is actually unique to this course.

In other news, Okaeri claimed its lead and released Bleach 16 today. Maybe if we're lucky, Lunar will have the English sub out tonight.

And finally, you winter weather fans might have a little fun stuff in store this weekend. I'm keeping my mouth shut. I know what happened when I talked last time.

TaxTalk

After spending much of the afternoon on the phone with my mother, the IRS (twice), and the Cashier's Office, I finally figured out the quantities of about 24 digits. Spending 2 hours on 24 digits...now that's just crazy.

Bleach 15 is out!

Bleach 15 is out! Okaeri has been beaten in our hour of need!

Unfortunately, no seeds are on and it appears no one has a complete copy. Guess it won't be until tomorrow at this rate.

So an explanation is necessary....

The deal about last night was that it didn't quite get cold enough for snow (last night's low held around 33). The difference I think was on the order of 3-5 degrees, which is just about enough to cause a difference (if difficult to measure). In any event, it was probably risky anyway with a low only predicted at 30 (leaving very little room for error).

Slept past CSC 379 so it'll just be CSC 316 for today.

now he's threatening to watch bleach 14 without me and spoony

what shall i do with this fool?

to all da dreamers

now everybody move... can't get a little something got to do... so better believe in... better believe in yourself...

-yakitate! japan 2nd closing theme

i've been listening to it for 2 days straight, first because of a lack of babystars and then because i started to really like it. and the band, has two of the blackest japanese people i've ever seen in it. but their music kicks ass so they can dress in sailor moon costumes for all i care

so, i met weather boy's friend weather dude the other day, a very cool guy. weather boy told me he's determined to grow a beard now to gain the coolness required to surpass weather dude and reach the ultimate transformation: weather shaman... being the lazy person that he is, i think he's going to stop after unleashing the 2nd level seal and settle for disheveled weather professional.

also, one of weather boy's friends in chapel hill said ksssssss!! after realizing that i applied kenshin lingo to things weather boy would say in real life, that they did... what in the name of the weather gods is ksss?!

and bleach 14 came out today... weather boy will die if he watches it without me and spoony.

Return to that place with lots of bricks and robots siphoning off people's energy (the horrible, horrible robots)

Classes start back up Monday (the punks down the road in Chapel Hill don't start until Wednesday). My schedule is really weird--1 class on Monday/Wednesday (2 on Friday), and 5 on Tuesday/Thursday (pretty much consecutively from 8am to 4pm). It's going to be really interesting or I'll become food for the robots really quickly.

Soopy-kun has a day of copious amounts of anime planned for Sunday--Bleach, Yakitate (notice the slight pun), and Monster. It's going to be a crazy day....

The TCCC is going to be Monday starting at noon (through sometime on Tuesday). I'd seriously like to make it to the first elimination round, but practicality says that that ain't going to happen....:-(
