LA Trip...almost finished

(By the way for you East Coast readers, it's 1:45am PST when I post this, not the typical 4:45am local. It's still late, but not as late/early as it might seem!)

It's been pretty fun hanging out in LA so far; this has been my third full day here in LA, although I fly out at 11:30pm PST from LAX to go back to State (I probably will be back at State at 10am EST Sunday). No, I haven't bought the fake Rolex like Soopy-kun would like, but cute green monsters harking baked goods can't have everything that they want. I still have to finish up my CSC 216 Java program; it's coming along, but I haven't finished writing it yet, and I really haven't tested it yet. I'm confident in it, but I'll find out soon whether I'm right or not!

Soopy-kun also reports making 5 times his normal sales commissions on the day after Thanksgiving! Way to go!

I probably will be up on Sunday sometime around 4pm or so, starting to work on my program. Bleach will start downloading when I arrive in Raleigh; I probably should be able to watch it when the stupid program is done.

weather boy in LA

causing meterological mayhem 3 time zones away!
the sequel to the cult classics "weather boy" and "weather boy in atlanta", coming soon to dvd and home video.

i told weather boy to buy himself a fake rolex and a fake tag hauger while out west. i guess i'll find out how courageous when he comes back.

our misadventure to crabtree was quite interesting... i found a place that made me regret getting teriyaki chicken, i found out that suncoast and waldenbooks are the greatest stores ever (in my humble otaku opinion), and i got hardcover trigun volume 1!! hardcover trigun volume 1!!!!!! limited edition!! cheaper than the paperback!!

oh yeah, i'm going to work tomorrow at 5:15 am, buy jewelry from me or else hazuki will cry (you non-tsukuyomi fans are horrible daughters).

Bleach 7 is out...in English

Bleach 7 is finally out in English, but I probably should wait until Soopy-kun gets back or he just might kill me.

Santa Clara 77, UNC 66

They only manage to lose by 11 after being down by as much as 22 in the second half (they were down by 3 at halftime). Still, at least they lost! ;-)

Well, at least I made it through this much...

The MEA 311 test sucked. What can I say. Hoping for a liberal curve, but it's going to hurt a bit. That test was NOT 45 minutes as thought though!

Now, let's see...I have a bunch of more stuff to do (unfortunately). 2 Physics webasses due at 1125, putting in hours at the internship (end of the biweekly period), and then the program, among other things.

Bleach 7 still not out...unfortunately.

LAX visit on Thanksgiving rapidly approaching; must find something to bring the twit sister (well, she isn't a twit, but since I'm younger, I can get away with it ;-)). Hopefully I get time to go to Crabtree Saturday, but there's no guarantee of that.

And poor Soopy-kun; his CSC 216 program grade was in the toilet. And some of the junk the TA's were taking off for was stupid. I tested with the test cases they were supposedly using (that's what they get for leaving them in a public locker!). And I swore they complied with the twisted implementation of RFC 822 (I'll link the URL to RFC 822 later, but you can just search for it).

And finally, Niyogi is leaving after this semester to go to Purdue. Good news? Bad news? Who knows?

On deck...MEA 311 Test 2

At 8:05, I get to take the glorious MEA 311 Test 2 (it's really a quiz, but I would be kidding myself if I actually said that much). I don't know how I'll do--I'm missing two major sets of notes that I obviously couldn't have studied from. It comes down to how well I understood the fundamentals, and how much in the way of details there will be...that's an excellent question indeed, that it should be....

This all starts a period where I have to writeup a lab, 2 more tests, a homework due at 11:59 tonight (electronically; 5pm by hand, so we know how this one will go!), the trip, and then two more programs due the Sunday at the end of break. And my internship has a major web content change coming up, so that has to be done soon (as soon as they get their act together and get me all the content, and the correct content!).

Hopefully I survive this period; I might not, but I'm hoping to.

Move over ANBU & Lunar...

...but here come the Portuguese: The group Okaeri has released Bleach 7 subbed in Portuguese, before anyone else. (The raw was released yesterday around 6pm ET by SaiyaMan; it airs in Japan at 6:30pm Tuesday, Japan time of course).

Issue One: Are the Portuguese the next force in fan-subbing?

And if you don't believe me, visit the Scarywater tracker, and the specific tracker for Okaeri.

Bowling exam

So I did the bowling exam, and parts of it were extremely obscure (and not really very worthwhile), but it went alright. So now the question is will it be enough for me to pass the class...good question indeed....

No Bleach 7 yet, maybe that will be out by the time I get back this evening (c. 8:08pm). And goodness, there sure will be a lot of studying tonight and not much sleeping (if any).

while putting some final touches on my lab report

i determined that my sound card is probably so crappy because of the deal toshiba made with srs. it annoys the hell out of me, because srs wow effects are alright sometimes but i'd rather have an awesome sound card/chip and no software rather than a really crappy one and software that's supposed to enhance it

Slept too much...

Once again, due to stupidly sleeping, I miss my first two classes. I either need more sleep and a better way to get myself up in the mornings!

Alas, one test today, and another one tomorrow...

Mr. Soopy-Kun was at fault for that last post.

And I am not responsible for the title either. Chalk it up to good old Soopy Kun.
